Custom Print - NECR and Vim + Vigor
The following projects were printed using the HP Latex 3000 with a variety of media. This catalogs a portion of the work completed over my time with NECR and V+V. Some projects below include additional wood elements or were finished by a seamstress, all done in-house.
1620 Winery
Two projects for 1620. A set of waterproof pouf covers, design created from their wine labels. A Visual Magnetics (VM) inspiration board for their new venue space. The board was build by me and has an magnetic receptive layer with a magnetic print of the wooden background on top, followed by a series of cut out magnetic images.
Absolut
Vinyl prints, applied to two bars and custom made hexagon stools.
The B List
Printed VM wall and magnets. Used as a Q+A board at the event.
The Shops at Chestnut Hill
Mall event focused on branding. Custom made mirror ping-pong table with window cling print, magnetic pedestals with shibori patterns, magnetic walls representing various retailers, printed pillows with shibori patterns.
Custom Wedding Tablecloths
Pattern created by designer Katie Ermilio, we worked together over several months to perfect the massive image and make tweaks to make sure the pattern could create a seamless repeat. Printed and sewn to make sure the pattern fell the same way on each tablecloth.
Magnetic Walls a Guest Book
Two magnetic walls placed sided by side, white magnet on top and bottom. Portrait is one seamless 8' image meant to be signed by guests at the wedding and to be removed after the reception.
50th Birthday @ Fenway - Custom Tablecloths
Made from over 500 individual backstage passes collected over a whole career. Scanned, cropped, sized to scale over the course of a week. Then organized into a massive repeatable swatch, printed and assembled. A serious project.
Curtain - Wedding in Marrakech, Morocco (GLDN)
Made of four long prints with pairs sewn together to make two massive curtain panels. Pole pocket on top and bottom, black fabric sewn to the back to make the curtain more opaque. Total size -- 16.5' W x 20' H
Providence College - Basketball Signs
Large format, printed on canvas with pole pocket up top. Series of basketball players, college logo, and "Go Friars!" signs
Providence College - Poetry Slam
Same space as above, large format printing to cover walls. Picture frame panels and brick wall, all printed on fabric.
Adhesive Vinyl Dance Floor - A Wedding in Maine
Center logo is printed in two horizontal sections, roughly 55" wide by 26' long. Remaining space on the floor is covered by white adhesive vinyl. Applied using blood, sweat and soapy water.
Cort Events - LA Graffiti Event
Large format fabric curtains, each is made from several panels sewn together 4" pole pocket on top.
